Hello and Welcome to Our Community

Old West Authenticity with New World Amenities

If you are fascinated with the Old West, you will enjoy Fort Greenwood’s collection of authentic Old West antiques.  These artifacts are an integral part of Canada’s heritage and of BC’s history.

Fort Greenwood is a community that reflects those good old-fashioned western values; a place where everyone can enjoy good times with good people.

The Pioneer Village was designed to be a gathering place where everyone can get together, hold events and dances, host movie nights, play bocci ball and horseshoes, potlucks and pool tournaments.

It’s great here in the Old West!

BC’s Best Little Secret

Greenwood has become a centre for people who want to explore the Old West. Bill Barlee in his Gold Trails and Ghost Towns TV series states Greenwood is one of only two mining towns still in existence.

This authentic Old West town lies within proximity to all the amenities of the city while enjoying the peace, quiet and stunning scenery of the Boundary Country.

Situated between the semi-arid Okanagan Valley and the Kootenay Rockies region, this is an ideal region for gardeners, nature lovers and retirees who like to stay active.

Resort Amenities

Fort Greenwood is one of the finest old fort concepts anywhere showcasing a collection of old world artifacts, wagons, saddles, and a good night chuck wagon with a full chuck box and antique utensils.

At the Pioneer Village, we have a dance hall, exercise room, and unique wild west theme.

This is where we meet, eat and play. This is where we host parties, games nights, and so much more.

Because of the great community spirit, we really do have a lot of fun.

As with older lots, and older times, we value space and privacy, all in a scenic location. Situated on Boundary Creek, there is access to the river front, fishing, and miles of Trans Canada trails.

All water, cable, telephone and sewer is city run and underground to ensure consistent service. We also have the best fresh city water in the region.

This is where you can get away from it all, but still be within reach of everything.
